The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Reporting to the Provincial Patient Safety Lead, the Application Administrator provides overall administrative support, technical support and direction to the users of the RL6 occurrence reporting software. The incumbent is assigned the highest-level system administrator rights and oversees application administration for the provincial RL system. Experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a health information environment with a focus on health information acquisition, health information analysis and reporting, data management and the promotion of data quality and integrity. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software application administration. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Successful completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science or a related field. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered. SPECIAL TRAINING: Completion of a certificate in Quality Management/Patient Safety is an asset. Certification/Licensure/Registration A valid driver’s license is required. Qualifications and Skills Knowledge in quality and patient safety backssment and performance measurement with both qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and presentation. Experience.
