Visitor Services Associate - Part Time The Tennessee Aquarium, rated the best aquarium in America for overall guest satisfaction, attracts over 750,000 visitors each year. As a Visitor Services Associate, you will provide world-class customer service by anticipating and meeting the needs of each visitor to the Aquarium. Key Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service by greeting and assisting all guests of the Aquarium Maintain a working knowledge of each critical post of the Aquarium floor operations Communicate professionally and effectively with visitors and staff Ensure the safe, smooth, and even flow of visitors through the Aquarium Provide service recovery during episodes of customer sacrifice Provide assistance during emergency situations ensuring the safety of visitors and staff Monitor critical areas to ensure safety and report any concerns in a timely manner Communicate clearly and professionally via a two-way radio Distribute guest satisfaction survey for marketing research Willing and able to uphold all Tennessee Aquarium Covid-19 protocols as relates to guest safety in a professional manner Execute and maintain Core Values and Service Standards Key Requirements Exceptional customer service and recovery skills Ability to perform under pressure Positive attitude with guests and co-workers always Ability to stand for extended periods of time; frequent walking, climbing stairs, and some lifting Ability to alternate between cold, hot, and/or wet conditions Part-time, hourly ($14/hour) All submissions must be received by April 28, 2023.
