Garda World is currently looking for a Senior Advisor, Public Relations Location: Ville St-Laurent The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective external communication strategies to enhance Garda World’s corporate narrative and brand awareness, as well as proactively manage the company’s reputation. This position will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with the media, stakeholders, and the public, ensuring that our organization's message is effectively communicated and aligned with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of media relations, and a proven track record of successfully managing public relations campaigns. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive public and media relations strategies that align with the organization's overall objectives. Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key media representatives, stakeholders, and industry influencers. Craft and disseminate compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to promote the organization's initiatives, achievements, and events. Monitor media coverage and public perceptions of the organization, identifying potential risks and opportunities for proactive communication strategies. Build and evolve infrastructure necessary for world class media relations function. Handle media inquiries and prepare executives and staff for public appearances and interviews. Coordinate and organize media events and other promotional activities to enhance the organization's public presence. Collaborate closely with other global communications and /or marketing functions to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
