At our event fundraising firm, we specialize in organizing impactful events that support various charitable causes and initiatives. Job Description: As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of fundraising events. This is a full-time position with paid training provided. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the planning and coordination of fundraising events from inception to completion. Coordinating logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual equipment. Assisting with the development and execution of event marketing and promotion strategies. Communicating with event vendors, sponsors, and participants to ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Providing on-site support during events, including set-up, registration, and troubleshooting. Assisting with post-event activities, such as attendee surveys, data collection, and follow-up communications. Maintaining event databases, records, and documentation. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events. Handling inquiries from event participants and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Enthusiasm for event planning and fundraising initiatives. Previous experience in event planning or fundraising is a plus but not required. Benefits: Full-time position with paid training provided.
