Join our team as a part time Behavior Specialist in our Substance Use Division (SUD) at Foothill Residential in Spanish Fork, Utah. The expected pay for this position is $15.62-$19.79 depending on experience. This is a part time ON CALL position. Are you excited about this Behavior Technician-PT job? As a new Behavior Specialist at our Foothill Residence unit, you will receive comprehensive training to ensure you are well-prepared for your role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include implementing behavior support plans, collecting data on client progress, assisting clients with skill development, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients in various settings, such as homes, or community centers, providing invaluable support and guidance. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings, receive supervision from experienced professionals, and continuously learn and grow in the field of behavioral health. What we're looking for in a Behavior Specialist To excel as a Behavior Specialist, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, as well as the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Attention to detail and the capacity to collect and analyze data accurately are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, having a background in psychology, social work, or a related field is advantageous. Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred.Proficiency in using data collection tools and software to track client progress is also beneficial.
