If you have experience in estate planning, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our Estate Planning Attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. The applicant we are looking for must have extensive knowledge of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and estate litigation. If this sounds like you, please apply! Responsibilities: --- Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets --- Confer with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process --- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current --- Provide clients with information about retirement plans, charitable contributions, and insurance choices --- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action --- Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney --- Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients --- Assist clients with guardianships, probate administration, and litigation Qualifications: --- At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary --- Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high --- Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation --- Member of the Florida Bar --- Extensive experience working in a law firm on estate planning, estate litigation, probate, and guardianship matters --- Medicaid Planning experience, preferred About Company: At the Elderly Care Law Firm, we embody a culture of positivity, dedication, loyalty, proactiveness, tactfulness, and effective communication.
