This role involves conducting audits, drafting legal documents, and offering practical solutions to complex employment issues.Duties:Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures.Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans.Draft and revise policies, handbooks, and other employee communication documents for clarity and compliance.Explain complex employment law issues in accessible language to diverse audiences.Identify problem-solving options and present the pros and cons of each for informed client decision-making.Requirements:JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.7+ years of relevant experience in employment law.Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law.Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is preferred.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong project management capabilities.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience conducting training or workplace investigations preferred.Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Expertise in employment law.Legal drafting proficiency.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills.Attention to detail.Organizational and project management abilities.
