Summary:We are seeking an experienced Small Business Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in small business accounting. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing teams both in the US and India, maintaining vendor relationships, handling client portfolios, and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with excellent growth potential and flexible working hours. Hindi or Gujarati Speaking Must.Responsibilities:- Manage accounting teams located in both the US and India.- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships.- Oversee client portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.- Perform daily processing of accounting transactions.- Post general account transactions and journal entries.- Reconcile bank accounts and address any discrepancies.- Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with regulations.- Process payroll and manage payroll tax payments and returns.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Minimum of five years of experience in small business accounting.- Proven experience managing accounting teams and vendor relationships.- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Fluency in Hindi or Gujarati is required.- CPA certification is a plus.Working Conditions:- Contract-to-Hire position.
