Position: Automotive Diesel Technician Job Summary: Firkins CDJR in BRADENTON, Florida is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary of $90000 to $120000 per year, paid weekly. The Automotive Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary of $90000 to $120000 per year - Paid weekly - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off - Retirement savings plan Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed - Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines - Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician - ASE certifications in diesel engines, electrical systems, and brake systems preferred - Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record EEOC Statement: Firkins CDJR is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
