The candidate will play a crucial role in the growth of the private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices. Job Overview:Make a meaningful contribution to the strategic growth of key practices.Handle a diverse range of secured lending matters.Serve as a key member of deal teams, managing signings, closings, and drafting debt commitment papers. Duties:Manage secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, and general corporate finance.Take responsibility for running signings and closings.Draft debt commitment papers and credit documentation. Requirements:Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.7-10 years of relevant experience.Experience as a key member of deal teams preferred.Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, and restructuring helpful. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to and membership in good standing of the Texas Bar. Skills:Strong understanding of secured lending matters.Ability to manage complex deal teams effectively.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Knowledge of private equity-related corporate finance transactions is a plus.
